Snorkeling at Lembongan

Snorkeling at lembongan. Boasting some of the most diverse reefs on the planet, Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Lembongan are must-visit locations for a snorkeling trip while you are in Bali. The pristine corals and warm waters are home to schools of vibrantly colored fish like the emperor angel fish, parrot fish, morray eels, turtles and in certain areas, manta rays! A recent survey by marine biologists has revealed over 250 species of fish!

The specially designated snorkeling areas make for a safe and enjoyable activity for all ages. Visit sites such as Crystal Bay, Manta Bay and Gamat Bay, famous for its sprawling coral garden and light currents. The exact snorkel spots visited will depend on the conditions. In good weather, you can go to Manta Point and Crystal Bay, while if there’s a big swell you will visit Gamat Bay.

Offshore Reefs
Famous for its excellent visibility of up to 40m+ on a good day. You will find there one of the most crystal clear water of Bali. You will see big sponges, nudibranch, mantis shrimps, cowries, cleaner shrimps & moray eels. Shoals of colorful anthias cover the corals, trigger fish, puffer fish, stingrays and keep an eye on the blue for the occasional Reef Shark, Barracuda or giant Trevally passing by.

Manta Point

The boat ride out to Manta Point is almost as exciting as the snorkeling trip itself, as it offers divers incredible views of the towering sea cliffs of Nusa Penida. The plankton-rich waters here attract the mantas all year round, sometimes seven or eight at a time. Snorkeling with Mantas will definitely be the highlight of your trip.
